Happy New Month!
I am so happy to be back on my old domain. Feels like coming home!
The last month has been awesome, at least for me and it is my hope that yours was as well.
A new month is here with us. Untouched un-jinxed with long hours in traffic and let’s not even start with the weather! I mean both Doha and Nairobi are in the extremes.
With every new month, I like to set down short term goals or resolutions per se that in the end contribute to the my years goals.
Write the vision;make it plain on tablets,so that a runner may read it.For there is still a vision for the appointed time;it speaks of the end, and does not lie: Habakkuk 2:2-3
Is this something you do? well, take a look at mine and let me know by leaving a comment telling about any goals or new things that you will trying this new month.
Reading: I would like to try and read at least one new book this month. I have my eyes set on Richard Koch’s 80/20 Manager. I have my eyes set on growing as a leader and I hope this will help with time management.
Cooking;new meals. I have too many cookbooks! I want to try at least new recipe per week. I am sure Mr. Quint is going to love this.
Watching; a new show. I am still wondering whether I should start watching Game of Thrones. I am a sucker for home renovation shows like Fixer-Upper!
Travelling; To Mumbai. This July, I hope to go to Mumbai. My indian co-workers and friends have finally got to me. I have to buy a white sparkly Sari while at it. Thik Hai?
Taking: More water. I need to start. Okay, I started yesterday. the trips to the loo are not funny but if I want to look 20 at 50, I better drinking this glorious tasteless liquid.
Working;very hard to remain consistent with my writing. I know it is a hobby but who knows where it could take me.
Praising; my way out of the storms in my life. The Lord inhabits the praises of his people. I plan to praise him all day everyday.
I hope you try something new this month. if you do not try, you will never know how good you are. Even though you fail, at least you tried.
Thank you for always being there for me through out this journey. I would not be here if you did not read my articles. A lot more to come.
